McMurtry’s Bank was founded by Angus McMurtry of the McMurtry Clan as a safe place for leprechauns, ogres and other collectors of rich ores and gems to deposit their pots of gold and other troves where Big People couldn’t find them. Since Wee Folk have no need of such things, McMurtry’s also accepts deposits of pins, needles, acorns, Danderfluffs and other precious things. Money Tree’s grow close by although why Big Folks would want such a thing the Wee Folk have no idea. The odd rectangular leaves are called “green backs” and are usually fed to small livestock which results in Cash Cows. The round flat berries are used extensively as stepping stones in both the Wee Village and Olde Towne because they are easy to keep clean and the faces on them are considered “plant art” and pretty. Quilters are going to really -treasure- this design! Fun and easy.
