700-7B The Stepladder Mansion

This very unusual structure is one of the more recent additions to Olde Towne although older than structures in the Wee Village. During the first winter and summer the colonists spent in their new home, the Stepladder Mansion was used as a multiple family dwelling as each level could be divided into chambers suitable for elves, leprechauns, fairies, or pixies. The very lowest floor, beneath the lower apartment’s balcony was reserved for trolls and ogre’s. As Olde Town expanded and more homes became available. The Stepladder Mansion was gradually abandoned and fell into considerable disrepair. A rather well to do family of Leprechauns began to restore the property until their Pot of Gold was claimed by a lucky Big Folk. With their fortune gone the house was divided into apartments for other Wee Folk. Arrange windows, doors and occupants as you choose! This design is full of fun and adventure for quilters!
