Use a modified square stitch and all three sizes of Miyuki Tila beads (full-sized, Half and Quarter Tila beads) to create a skinny Tila band that makes a great stacker band or double the width for a wider band. Detailed step-by-step directions and illustrations from start to finish for both bands. Once you get the hang of the stitch technique, you can make your band as wide as you like by increasing the number of beads in the initial row of Tila beads. In addition, I see no reason why you cannot use more Half Tila beads instead of Quarter Tila beads or vary the sizes of all Tila beads used. It is a very versatile stitch. Have fun with it.
