This striking odd-count peyote bracelet pattern featuring three large poppies against a background of a field of poppies is the November bracelet in my Flowers for All Seasons series. I picked poppies for November because the poppy was chosen as the symbol for Remembrance Day (the 11th day of the 11th month) in Commonwealth countries based on this line from the famous WWI poem In Flanders Fields: "In Flanders fields the poppies blow between the crosses, row on row". This pattern first appeared in Issue 33 (Jan/Feb 2011) of Bead-Patterns the Magazine
. It includes a list of 4 recommended Delica bead colors and a full color chart. My Flowers for All Seasons series also includes Winter Flowers Bracelet (item #00016920), Roses for Valentine's Day Bracelet (item #00017059), Daffodils for Spring Bracelet (item #00017120), Tulips for Spring Bracelet (item #00017141), Lilies for Easter Bracelet (item #00017155) and Spring Flowers Bracelet and Ring (item #00017186). Basic peyote stitch instructions are NOT included.
