Confection Bracelet

What do you get when you combine a fabulous focal bead with a variety of seed bead shapes and sizes? A confection of peyote color and texture with an unusually strong construction. If you've had other needle-woven bracelets break at the clasp, this one is almost indestructible. Prerequisite: Knowledge of flat peyote stitch.

Beads Used: 1 focal bead, approximately 1 inch diameter, relatively flat in shape; at least 3 of any of the following bead shapes/sizes: size 6 round, size 8 triangle, size 8 hex, size 8 Delica; in addition to the beads above, any 3-5 other beads in different colors, shapes and sizes (optional: small accent beads like pearls, gemstones, fire-polished glass beads, no larger than 4mm); size .014 (Fine) SoftFlex beading wire, approximately 1 foot; 2 crimp beads; 1 toggle clasp; Nymo D or Fireline (4 lb.) crimping pliers; wire cutters or bead nipper; Bead Stopper
