Scarab Amulet Bag

This pattern features a scarab sitting in an egyptian boat carrying him to the afterlife, holding a horned sun. Two ankhs flank him on either side. The scarab is the creature of rebirth in the Egyptian mythology, and the ank of everlasting life, and the horned sun a symbol of the Goddess Isis. Also included in the pattern is a chart for a small counterweight, just like the real Egyptian necklaces, to go onto the back of your neckstrap! Pattern is beaded using a bead loom, with delica beads.
