Gypsy Caravan Earrings
These earrings were made from pattern #2169 to match the caravan necklace (shown here in the gallery) that I made for my friend. I used colors she likes to wear instead of the colors in the pattern. I made these in addition to making the new redheaded fortune teller earrings. After all, if a suit can have two pairs of pants, why can't a necklace have two sets of earrings? The great thing about this set of patterns is you can really play with the colors in the wagons, and if you want to use even more color differences, you can change the background too. I designed the background in black but I used purple, my friend's favorite color, when I actually wove the set.

Redheaded Fortune Teller With Crystal Ball Earrings
I just designed these--or rather redesigned an earlier pattern to be smaller and have different colors. I wove them today as well since I need them to go with the caravan set as a gift for a friend. The pattern number is 3823. There's an earlier version of this in brick stitch with a curly black haired fortune teller 1325 but this earring is smaller and designed in peyote.

Caravan Bracelet
Here's my take on the Gypsy Caravan Bracelet, though this scan is actually of a portion of the strap, for which I used the bracelet pattern. I used a purple background and painted the wagons in whatever colors contrasted the most with the background and each other and went with the central wagon. The pattern number is 2168 if you want to do one yourself.

Caravan Necklace
Here's the Gypsy Caravan Necklace as I wove it for a friend who loves purple and teal. I used a dark purple background instead of black and pretty much ignored my own suggested delica colors to try to do colors that would look well on my friend. I had a great time with the strap, for which I used the bracelet pattern, making the caravans leaving by the light of the moon on one side and returning to the campfire on the other. I also painted each wagon any bunch of colors within my scheme that seemed like fun at the time. The pattern number is 2166 if you want to do your own version.
