I had a lot of fun stitching this ribbon, I love doing RAW, and Chris Prussing is one of my favorite RAW designers.
I added the necklace with 4mm and 6mm Swarovski Crystals. My Mother had breast cancer, and I will wear this ribbon in her memory.

La Llorona
Patti chose to fringe only the skirt of La Llorona, the Mexican weeping woman ghost of the river, and to symbolize the tears the lady continually weeps for her drowned children, Patti interspersed crystal teardrop beads with the black fringe. For a bit of duende to symbolize the Border region of the story and the danger of its moral, she used some of her stash of rattlesnake vertebrae in the strap. This was a Halloween birthday gift for her friend and local beadstore owner, Susan.
