Star Within Ornament with Crystal Rope Edge

This is the intermediate level pattern of my Star Within Ornament series. This one has the Crystal Rope Edge which is a ring of 4 mm crystals around the outside of the ornament that are bordered with a size 15 seed bead rope trim. The star center is created using size 4 mm crystals and is nested in the middle of the ornament. Small size 3 mm crystals between the points finish off this beautiful ornament. My father nicknamed this ornament The Wheel and it is another one that looks great near the top of the tree.

Stitch: Tubular peyote with decreases and flat peyote.
Beads Used: size 11 Delicas, size 15 seed beads, size 3 and 4 mm crystal or fire polish
