A reversible bag with daisies on one side and a dahlia on the back, this pattern makes either an amulet bag, or small tapestry, using one-drop peyote stitch and fifteen colors. The pattern includes an optional flap to close the bag. The daisy front of the bag allows for the flap to close the bag without covering any part of the flower.
Alternatively, you have the choice of beading the bag with no flap by eliminating the last 30 rows and using a charm closure. Neither the flap nor an accent bead used as a charm should cover any of the pattern. The pattern includes large graphs with symbols, and two word maps, one map for flat peyote and the other map for tubular peyote, as well as a material list and color legend.
Instructions include how to start the tubular peyote. Use of the word map for tubular peyote eliminates the need to sew the sides of the bag together. Instructions do not include directions for strap or fringe, so it is your choice.
This will make a great bag for spring and summer.
