Akhenaten tried to unite his people under one God, the Aten. This inspired king of Egypt introduced the Aten as a symbol of the Creative Force in the universe, a God having no physical image. A solar disk, which projected many downward rays ending in human hands or Ankhs, served as a representation of the one God worthy of worship. This reversible bag uses only seven colors of Delicas. The pattern includes graphs with symbols, material list, color legend, and two word charts, one of which is tubular peyote bead map. The pattern includes Aten’s Disk on one side and a reproduction of a 16th dynasty Ankh on the other side. Easy to bead for those who know peyote, this is a beginner’s project. The strap and fringe for the bag is your choice; instructions for neither of these are included.
