This pattern was originally designed for the BSOT (Beaders Supporting Our Troups) project to purchase USO sponsored care packages (both the designer and Bead-Patterns.com donated all proceeds). This fundraising project has now been suspended. The pattern is still being offered due to ongoing interest in the design. Patriotism never has a specific time or place - it is always important! SHOW YOUR PRIDE! Given the nature of this design, it would make an ideal project for display (auto mirror pendant or bookmark - stained glass effect is achieved with transparent beads) and its compact size and shape is perfect for earrings or a pendant. For those who purchased and thus contributed during the fund raising period, thank you for helping us, help them! Two patterns are provided (one star and two star) but additional stars can be added by repeating the pattern. One star is placed for each service member that has been deployed. A symbol chart and bead counts are also included.
