In Ukrainian tradition arrowwood symbolizes unusual strength and immortal beauty. Initially arrowwood was associated with the beginnings of the Universe and the flaming trinity: Sun, Moon and Star. The Ukrainian name of arrowwood comes from the old Ukrainian name of Sun. Red berries of arrowwood symbolize blood and immortal clan, flame and sun. This is why arrowwood is always embroidered on wedding clothes. Arrowwood is a symbol of woman’s spiritual life: her girlhood, love and beauty, married life, trials and happiness. This bracelet is loomed of 3 bead colours: black, red and white. The pattern includes a photo of the finished bracelet, 7 graphs (of the bracelet and the clasp) and a detailed instruction for the clasp. You can see my cartooned tutorial of Easy Looming at Bead Weaving Animations.
