Navajo Rug Set
[00000413]

Here is a very versatile pattern based on a Navajo rug I own.
The rug category is known as Ganado Red for the area from which it comes, Ganado, partially developed by and sold through Hubbell's trading post.
I used the central motif of my rug and embellished it a little, then added a plain background with borders and diamonds in the corners.
Strap or Bracelet design matches the Earrings and both blend with the Panel.
I would find it more exciting to ignore the background and just bead the central medallion for the necklace, run connecting strands of beads up three or four inches and start the strap and fringe it.
This is a smaller panel which could be used for a necklace, and is smaller than my storyteller necklaces, which some would find more wearable.
The colors are black, red, gray, & white, it might be fun to substitute silver for gray.
